High-Frequency Level Sensor RFLS-24-3 in a New Design

Reliable level detection even in demanding industrial applications

The RFLS-24 high-frequency level sensor is designed for point level detection of liquid and paste-like media. Thanks to its measuring principle and robust design, it is suitable for demanding industrial applications where it can serve as a full-fledged alternative to vibrating or capacitive level sensors.

New all-plastic version

In addition to the standard stainless-steel versions, the RFLS-24 is now available in the all-plastic RFLS-24-3 version. This version has been developed primarily for applications in chemically aggressive environments and for level detection of challenging liquids in plastic tanks and storage vessels.

Typical applications include level detection of:

  • contaminated water and sludge,
  • inorganic acids,
  • alkalis,
  • other corrosive and chemically aggressive liquids.

High chemical resistance

The body of the RFLS-24-3 sensor is made of PP GF30, a polypropylene reinforced with 30% glass fibres. This material provides high chemical resistance and long-term stability, even when the sensor is in contact with aggressive media.

The sensor housing is designed as one compact unit, with the electrode cover forming an integral part of the sensor body. This construction contributes to the overall durability of the sensor and makes it suitable for demanding operating conditions.

RFLS-24-3 for demanding applications

The new all-plastic design further expands the application range of the RFLS-24 high-frequency level sensor, particularly where resistance to chemically aggressive media and compatibility with plastic tanks and storage vessels are essential.

The RFLS-24-3 provides a reliable solution for point level detection across a wide range of industrial applications, including processes involving corrosive liquids and other challenging media.
